The same thing happened to me. The doctor said it was normal. I would imagine our doctors would say/do something further if there was cause to be alarmed.
Although I am not a doctor, I did work at an ob-gyn. Just like our heart rate changes, theirs does too. Ours isn't going to be the same every time. If something were wrong they would have hooked you up to the stress test, giving you an ultra sound or sent you to the hospital. :)
Normal for late trimester fetuses is 120-160, so I wouldn't worry. Plus, it's extremely possible your baby was napping or otherwise relaxed. I know it's scary, but I'd just take a deep breath if I were you. And the baby's gonna be here so soon!

Hello Bees,
I went to my OB apt. today (I'm 37w3days) and my baby's heart rate had dropped from 140 last week to 120 this week. I know that heart rates tend to slow down 3rd trimester, but does this drop in rate seem excessive?
