Those two are great...and they totally look like e-pics. Why do you think they don't?

Ok i'm going to have to try to figure out something. no we have a few pictures that i do like but i feel like outta 125 there should have been more that actually looked like engagement pictures. Plus i'm just a little disappointed on how our location turned out. i wanted a specific photographer who is AMAZING so i kind of compare them to her. and i know its not a good thing to do.
Do you have a flickr account or something. You can upload your photos there and just give us the link?
Photographes/artsits all have different styles, and honestly, it does no good to compare them to eachother...you'll just be disappointed.
I think the ones I see so far are great, but I'm sorry that only a small portion of them turned out good for you. Is this def. the phootgrapher you will use for your wedding? If not, you can always do another epic session!

Aww I like them! I love that they're not you're typical e-pics. Ours are kind of like that too. We just wanted fun pictuers together.

I kind of hated my pictures at first even though I LOOOOVE my photographer, and I think it's just because they were of ME and I think we are always more critical of pictures of ourselves and we nitpick every last little detail. Your pictures are darling, and you have nothing to worry about!
I love the one where you too are walking with all the leaves and the last one close up with your head on his shoulder!
Oh, I love them!!! But I totally get it - I felt the same way about our wedding pics. I was surprised that there were only a handful of really good ones. I'm starting to think that's pretty typical, tho.
I really like your pictures! And the location. And your blue shoes are fabulous and I love your haircut. I'm way too chicken to try a short cut like that but it looks super cute on you!
I really, really love your e-pics! The location is really edgy and I love it. It is hard to love your own pics but show them to people close to you and I am sure their reaction wil be really positive. We got 180 pics and liked maybe 20, I think that is typical. Also, think about how many of those pics you would actually print out or use on wedding related projects, 10 that you love just might be enough!

Wow! I really love them. They are super edgy. I love them! Engagement photos don't have to be all cuddly and mushy. I think the one looking in at you grabbing his tie is SUPER HAWT! And I like the contrast with the softer ones at the bottom of the photog's blog post. The walking/laughing one is so candid. They look awesome!
I was pretty critical of my own too. FI was even worse! He kept making comments about his gut. So much so, he won't let me use them anywhere in the wedding decor. But I like them. We had a lot of fun.

I love our photographers style, but i just don't like the way they did our e-pics truthfully. I don't think most of them look like e-pics. We had over 125 pictures to choose from and I only like around 10 of them. I know i'm probably jsut being over critical because the photog that i REALLY wanted, we can't take her with us on the cruise because of the cost and pictures are really important to me. I don't know i'm probably just being over critical about them.
