Darn, I thought there’d be a video of someone’s fiance singing “Single Ladies” or something.

It’s a thing… It’s a play on Beyoncé.

Ugh.

Even if it’s supposed to be a play on “Beyoncé”, it would only actually be amusing if it was Beyoncé wearing a shirt saying feyoncé.

Hahaha right…

my FI was recently getting a tattoo done and the tattooist for some reason asked what is on his desk at work. There must have been some noise in there that day… FI says a few things and a picture of his fiancé. The guy is shocked and says, ‘what?’ so FI repeats. The guy says ‘do you hear what you’re saying mate? You have a picture of Beyoncé on your desk at work?!?’

It most definitely is a thing. Beyonce has become such a mainstay in weddings, that this makes sense. The single ladies song is notoriously played during the tossing of the bouquet, simply because it calls for “all the single ladies”. Also the “if you liked it then you should have put a ring on it” phrase is what has created this Feyonce thing. It’s all in good fun. Everyone knows what the real spelling is.

Are we not all saying Beyoncé s name wrong? The accent is on the last syllable, it should be Bee-on-SAY, not Bee-ON-say.

(I’m sure Bey would’ve corrected people a long time ago if we really were mispronouncing her name)
