So I am stilling looking around for a Flower Girl dress but really fell in love with this one (will be ivory though):
But the thing is, it really doesn’t have much in common with the BM’s dresses or my dress:
Should I keep looking for a Flower Girl dress with lace or it doesn’t matter?

My dress is lace as well and I’m making something very similar for my flower girl (to the Flower Girl dress you posted). If you find something you love and she would be ubber cute in then go for it!

Post pics of your Flower Girl dress?!

My Flower Girl had a poofy tulle dress and my dress was satin, so no, they did not match, but I really don’t think it mattered. She looked cute and it wasn’t completely out of place. I say go for it if you like it!

I dont think it has to match at all. We went unconventional and our Flower Girl is wearring black and lilac.

My dress doesn’t match my weding dress but I love it so much I’m willing to look past that. That’s saying a lot because I am super OCD with things matching… =D I love the Flower Girl dress you posted is amazing! I wish I could have found one like that!

My Flower Girl dresses were kind of unique… Not traditional Flower Girl dresses because I wanted them in color 🙂 You can see all of our colorsi n this pic and the style of my dress as compared to the Bridesmaid or Best Man and Flower Girl dresses 🙂

This is how I feel about wedding choices…
Whatever YOU like and YOU want… do it! Plain and simple as that
Because there is no rule saying this has to be this way, or you have to do this in this way.. its just so overly used that people expect it and to me I dont like that. It almost limits your day because youre too worried about it being “out of the norm”..
I think its a cute dress and if that’s what you want hey, go for it!

Garden Bride- I love that Flower Girl dress! Where did you find it? My daughter who will be 20 months at our wedding is our Flower Girl. I’m wondering if it would come in her size.
I really wanted the dress below but they don’t come in smaller toddler sizes. Plus it is way more than I want to spend. It’s like $160!

I looked at David’s Bridal but those dresses are kind of boring and expensive for such a tiny amount of fabric (they have bridesmaid dresses cheaper) so I looked online and found one that I like for my wedding in Dec. on ebay ($12 ish plus shipping)
I like how its simple with alittle pop of color to match my purple theme and she’ll have alittle hanging floweing to hold

Thank you ladies I appreciate the advice
I found a new one!!
My BMs are in pale yellow and the FGs will be in grey to match our theme 🙂

The Esty one is absolutely ADORABLE! I love it, it sounds like it’ll go nicely with your colors.
