I said, we can do anything I want?
He said anything.
THEN HELP ME CLEAN THE HOUSE.
So he HAD to help haha. There’s still a room to be done but it’s barely used so I don’t have to stare at it. This post brought to you by the generic version of magic eraser… of which I bought TWELVE on my way home from work. It really is magic, I swear, it’s the only thing on earth that can get my kitchen clean enough for me.
Maybe it’s weird to spend your birthday doing heavy duty cleaning instead of like… going out or something. But a sparkly home is my present to myself.
What presents do you give yourself?

Lol. Your poor DH! He was probably hoping for something, anything else lol.
My present to myself us usually chocolate related, which my SO has cottoned onto and buys me random chocolates too now. 😀

I should remember that one. My husband is great at picking things up when people are coming but terrible at actually cleaning.

Hmm. It would most likely be a Kindle book or a Disney movie. I’m trying to collect ALL the Disney movies lol.
That is hilarious though that you asked for cleaning! He’s probably regretting asking you that question now lol.

Last year my husband asked me the same thing and my response was similar
“I want to clean the house before my birthday so it will be spotless, then I want to spend the whole day in bed, breakfast lunch and dinner in bed.” and I got it.
I have a 5 year old so spending a day in bed is truly a luxury I don’t ever get. Got it on my birthday though 🙂

I got myself a bag, which should be here by my bday in 11 days. If I asked anyone but me for a Vera Bradley bag from the winter preview sale, they’d think I was crazy. I pretty much picked out SO’s gift to me, but part of it is a surprise

Love this! Sounds like something I’d ask for, haha!

I asked for perfume and jewellery.
