It can be so confusing sometimes! It took me forever to figure out why people were talking about STDs and some I still don't get sometimes like FTW (for the win) and IMHO (in my humble opinion) but those are less wedding related.
Oh and by the way, welcome!
I just found out today that a "DIWK" is double income without kids. There are alot of confusing shorthands but once you get used to it, you use it all the time. I started writing BM, MOB, etc at work and people had no idea what I was talking about!
Hehe DIWK is more tax terminology. Not something you talk about in wedding conversation normally!
Some people do use SO. I think a lot of people who are waiting use it since they can't say FI lol.
It really confuses me when people use "SO" cause sometimes they are just trying to emphasize the word "so". example "I was SO mad" I always have to read it twice to catch which one they are using..!!
lol. . . its almost a pet peeve I think, since I am getting a little frustrated just thinking about it. Hahaha!
nevermind, I just looked at the list
Apparently it means Darling Husband, I don't think I'll be using that abbreviation :-p
@Diasy: I don't use DH at all. He is my husband (haven't even said hubby either).

I must be a newbee to all of this, lol, but really, what is FI, SO, all the other lingo around here?
I used to think FH was future husband, and FMIL is future mother in law...
I am confused, help a girl out?
