@RenoSweeney24:  YAY for you! 🙂 That’s so cool.

We’re nowhere near the ring picking stage yet, sadly, but he told me long ago that he doesn’t see himself wearing anything other than a plain, thin (no more than 3-4 mm) white gold band. So while the search may not be very exciting it will at least be quite easy! lol

I had to go look at my husband’s — I couldn’t remember. His is palladium with two little stripes of rose gold.  He chose it…=)

This is my husband’s! It is a custom made puzzle ring. It’s 14 KXY (apparently stronger?) white gold. One side is brushed the other is not. The coolest thing is it comes apart into two separate pieces that then snap together to make one ring. We love it!

@KatiePi:  My DH would love a puzzle ring! We looked at a few, but none that he thought would work for a wedding ring.

My husband is a plain jane too and originally said he just wanted a plain band. He ended up with a palladium ring that has brushed metal strip in the center with polished edges and notches along the top and bottom rim. It took him forever to decide but he loves it and it’s very “him.”

@RenoSweeney24:  We went shopping for his ring and we both ended up loving this band:

He wasn’t planning on wearing a ring every day until he found this one.

@RenoSweeney24:  It’s white tungsten carbide.  Triton is the design company but we purchased his from Bello Marc online and saved $150 over what the jewelry store was trying to sell it for.

@RenoSweeney24:  lucky! FI just wanted a lame-o plain band. I kid…he can get whatever he wants, and it does look nice. I just thought he might get something a bit snazzier to go with my fancy set.  oh well! Have fun picking out your FI’s fancy ring! 🙂

@RenoSweeney24:  so exciting! My FI wants a plain unplated white gold square edge band. Basically as plain as can be! He won’t entertain any other options.

This is one of my husbands bands. He also has a plain white gold band he wears everyday. He works on cars and is in thr gym and stuff a lot, so his rings gets really beat up, so I have the nice one locked up for special occasions and date nights. =)

I guess my FI is pretty trendy lol! He wants a square edge band with white gold in the middle, and yellow gold on the sides. Or maybe the other way around, but I’m pretty sure that’s it.

At first he wanted something with diamonds in it, but then when we looked, he wasn’t sure. Our jeweler warned him that since he was on the fence, he might get sick of the diamonds, like our jeweler did with his first wedding ring. So then he was thinking about getting something very simple, but couldn’t decide between yellow or white gold (rose gold looks weird on his skin tone). But then we saw the two-tone bands, and that was it! 🙂
