Our pastor gave us an assignment after our first meeting 2 months ago. We went back yesterday and she asked if we did it. I gaped, openmouthed, as I’d forgotten, and Fiance laughs at me and says “I remembered…” We drove over together!! Remind me so I can do it in the car!
So I had to ask in front of her what it was, and he said we had to think of why we fell in love with each other and what one thing we’d change if we could. I went first, so on the spot, I said I’d make him a little more romantic. *He* said (grrr) he wished I was more confident in myself. Really?? Way to make me look like a jerk!
I kid. It was funny, though a severely unfair advantage. Anyone else have any funny counseling stories?

Oh my gosh, don’t scare us like that! Glad you didn’t mean what I thought from the post title!

Dude. I the post title got me. I have to admit it.
We had the most ridiculous set of people talking about NFP at our 8hr class we had to attend. They were a married couple and they were a little too happy to be talking about “vaginal mucous” and things of the like. (I still shudder…gah!)
The dude totally cornered me while I was pouring a drink during the break and was asking all kinds of questions about me and Darling Husband. Turns out he knew (through previous work dealings) almost all of DH’s dad’s side of the family.
Talk about uncomfortable.

@tksjewelry: haha cyber gibbs-slap 😀
Sorry! I actually came back to the post to try to change the title. I felt guilty as soon as I posted it.
@Mrs.tobe: vaginal mucous…that sounds like an awesome group convo…lol

Your title completely got me too! DH is a psychologist and counsels people all day and I know many counselors myself and wondered what seedy, unethical, CINO (counselor in name only :)) would do something like that!
