FI and I have been long distance for just under two years while he got his masters and I worked on my Ph.D.

I can't tell anyone yet (he doesn't want me to, yet), but....

HE JUST GOT ACCEPTED TO DO HIS PHD WORK AT THE SAME UNIVERSITY I GO TO!!! So, not only is this a wonderful opportunity for him academically, we'd also get to be in the same city, and he has a gaurenteed paycheck for the next 4-5 years (He also got a teaching assistantship!)

I'm so excited that I can't hardly keep it together!

That is amazing! I know that that is like a one in a million chance... I know Ph.D. programs don't accept a lot of people... that is amazing! If you're at Miami, I have a friend doing his Master's there now!
