(I hope I’m posting this in the right place)
Found out recently that FI has been asked to give his aunt away – adorable, right?! But he’s now been asked to do a speech as well and he is terrified of public speaking. I’ve tried to give him pointers but I’ll be honest, I have NO clue what to say except to tell him that nobody ever remembers the speeches anyway.
Do any bees have any advice or support I can pass on to FI to help him not be so nervous about making this speech, or any ideas as to what he could say? Thanks 🙂

@ZebraPrintMe: That is really sweet! I haven’t given any speeches, except for in a public speaking class I took years ago. Have him read these tips. Some of them don’t apply but some of the tips are great.
I really like the tip that says to ‘accidently’ drop the cards at the beginning and say, ‘well, this speech is going to be a lot more confusing now’. This gets a laugh from the audience and makes the speaker feel more comfortable.
Good luck to your FI!
