To me I think the fake it until you make it applies. Sex from the outside might not be interesting you, but once it starts ( assuming your partner treats you well) its hard not to enjoy it ! So sometimes just going with the flow can help!

Also, if your having any type of confidence issues with your body after your baby or whatever, how about doing a few things that make you feel great- like a hair cut, nails done, the gym, a new bra, whatever!

I agree with the fake it until you make it, though we have never done it several times a day 4-5 times a week!

@MrsDPal811:  I agree with the fake it until you make it like PP said. Why don’t you tell him more foreplay? Maybe that will help, I know it takes me alot to get ‘going’ even if we are already to go i’m still like ehh. So my SO does more foreplay now so when we get ‘down to business’ it’s not him finishing and me laying there like..what?!?! lol . Idk if that makes any sense lol

I’d say an increase in self-esteem. Things that can do that: eating better, working out, meditation, new hair cut, applying makeup, new clothing, getting sunshine, sleeping more, laughing. I used to be a little depressed and my libido decreased drastically!!… but then I reinstated these easy routine activities and now I want to jump my FI all the time again. 😀

Maybe he could help you out more with the household chores and taking care of the baby so you aren’t always completely worn out?  What used to get you in the mood before having her?

@MrsDPal811:  Yeah I totally agree! Even if you can get your man to watch the baby while you take a long bath while enjoying some nice relaxing music and wine. I do this about every other night (sorry, I don’t have any kids, dogs though!). I love it and it’s very relaxing. I recommend Lush bath products (kinda pricing though) and Michael Buble pandora radio.

Even if you do need to lose some weight, you need to feel good in your own skin. That body (no matter what it looks like) is the only one you have in this life. Treat it well but know that being negative about yourself is not only hurting yourself but your family also. I’m sure you don’t look as bad as you think. Look in the mirror and pick out positive things about yourself. Focus on those, eat better and work out when you can, and you’ll start to feel better (about your physique).

@MrsDPal811:  Are you breast feeding? I wonder if your hormones are a bit off? If you’re not breast feeding, I’d suggest DHEA 25mg. I was tired and lacked libido about a year ago. My doctor  tested my estrogen, progesterone, and testosterone levels in addition to a few other things, like thyroid. Turns out my testosterone was way below normal. My progesterone was slightly low, as well. He recommended DHEA because it converts into testosterone. I noticed a huge increase in my libido and energy level after about a month of taking it. You can purchase it at GNC.
