If YOU’re happy with it, that’s what matters.  Your ring definitely does draw a lot of attention though.. be prepared for “So what does your fiance do again??” questions. 😛

How do YOU feel about it?

When FI and I were ring shopping before we got engaged, I was convinced that we both had to love it, but after wearing it for a year, I’ve realized that I am the one who sees it constantly, who wears it everyday, and ultimately, it is my ring.

I am not a fan of huge rings so I do feel like yours looks a bit costumey and it would really shine if it’s pared down a bit. But, that’s just my personal opinion. I noticed that you have very blinged out nails, so you clearly like the bling and maybe this ring is just your style.

I think if you love it, that’s what matters.
Another thing you could consider is keep the big center stone, but downsize the sidestones? Just a thought…

For me personally, I think it is the size/shape of the side stones that make it look “too big.”  I think that if the side stones were a little more delicate it might take the whole ring in another direction.  That being said, you should get what you are happy with as long as you can afford it!

Did he buy the ring? I’m confused why he would be uncomfortable with it if he bought it.

I disagree with pp, I think you should both be happy with it. I would find a compromise size if I were you. You could sacrifice some size and still have a bold ring.

It looks good on your hand, because your hands are big (no offense!) If it was smaller, it would get “lost”…

I agree with some of the PP.  I think the side stones are making it look “too big”  I think if you kept the center large but got smaller side stones it would look much better.  But again, it’s all personal preference but i can understand wanting your FI to be happy with it too 🙂

I think it’s a little big. I would be scared of being robbed where I live!

I think it looks fine, but I can see why you would want your FI to like your ring, too.
