no, it does not matter because he didnt see YOU in the dress and when that happens, thats when it counts and there will be magic
its all good
It doesn't matter!! He probably will take your word for it that you were looking at some other dress and forget about it. All that matter is the day of the ceremony for hm when he sees you in it. You'll look amazing and he'll be like wow!
If he's anything like my FI, he won't even remember what it looks like. Plus, when he sees it on you, with your hair and makeup all done, it'll be totally different. So don't worry!
He's a guy so he won't remember what it looked like. No need to stress at all. Not to mention, models are all airbrushed so how a dress looks on them is nowhere near related to what that same dress will look like on a real person, and no two people are built the same anyway.
Aw don't worry!
Most guys just see "pretty white dress" and won't even know it is the same once he sees it on you. It sucks but you'll look amazing in the dress and he'll not even think back to that picture :)
Guys usually forget these things, so I wouldn't worry too much.
He will not remember what it looks like, much less what it looks like on you.
Wow... you are cool under pressure! Go you! :) I really don't think it matters. He won't remember at all.
Mr. S saw mine, too, although he doesn't know it! I don't think it matters, though.
Id be upset if my husband had seen my dress before I got it (I hid it in a folder layers deep on my computer) but he wont remember it, especially since it was a picture of the model, not you, in the dress!
I've shown FI the pic of the dress, ain't no shame in it. He's not seen it on me. Models versus real life changes a dress. :o) Don't worry!
Do not worry about it! I had pictures of my dress all over the place and my FI probably still couldn't describe it or pick it out if given 2 choices. Plus, if you look on the thread that shows real brides vs model pictures you can see that the dresses sometimes don't even look the same when on a "real" person. They actually look a million times better!
I doubt he'll remember. I remember in Father of the Bride, Steve Martin's character looks at his wife and thinks, "I know I'll never remember what she wore that night, but I knew she was beautiful" or something like that. I think this is how guys think of fashion. :)
I did not let my husband see a picture of my dress, but if he had seen a picture of it, on the model, he definitely would not have remembered it! I don't think you have anything to worry about!
It doesn't matter. Mr. Rainbow has seen my dress plenty of times. As long as he doesn't see you IN the dress, you're golden!
FI saw mine on accident too. I left the File on the computer.
At this point, I would just let it go. In 6 months I doubt he will remember...heck. He probably doesn't even remember the conversation now. My FI wouldn't. And it will look different on you than the model. No worries.
lol...i am SURE he wont even remember what it looks like...especially since you shrugged it off so well! Good cover! I really wouldnt worry about it too much...and if you look at some posts that have been put up about model vs real bride...it looks totally different on the real brides! They look so much better! So i really wouldnt worry.
I can guarantee that he will not remember it. How? The other day I pulled up a model picture of the dress I wore at our wedding six months ago. My husband made a goofy face and told me that my wedding dress was so much classier than that one. When I told him it was my dress, he said "oh, well at least yours didn't have that big ugly flower on it!" (Wrong again, by the way...)
If your FI is anything like Mr. Pudding, he'll forget what it looked like in three seconds flat. I bet you if you asked him now what it looked like all that he would remember is that it's white :P
Don't worry about it!
If he is anything like my partner, he will have already forgotten what it's like, and when he see's you in it, he won't even know it's that dress!x
I'm sure he won't remember, to most guys I think a wedding dress is a wedding dress, plus you played it super cool.
Thanks, bees!! I feel so much better about it! You're ALL right: he won't remember the picture and I'm going to blow him away when he sees me in it! LOL!!
Thanks again, ladies!
I totally wouldn't worry about it! I'll probably make Mr. KM look at my dress before the wedding just because I hate surprises so I expect everyone else to as well!

So, a friend of mine wanted to see my dress, so I looked it up online and sent her the link. BUT I forgot to close out the screen. FI gets on the computer to check email and said, "Did I just see your dress?" I said, "Where, How?" and then I realized the webpage was still up. I said, "No, that's not my dress. I was just looking at that one." Then I changed the subject to something else that funny that we were talking about earlier and laughed about it to not let him see my real emotions, which were ANGER and FRUSTRATION (at myself, of course).
Does it matter that he saw it? I'm thinking that he didn't see ME in the dress, just a pic of a model wearing it. HELP!!
