Bought me a bicycle… when we already had 3 other bicycles which only needed new tires or air in their tires… -_-**  I was mean to him about it too, which I regret… his intentions were good, but I couldn’t believe he bought another one when we already had a bunch he could have spent that money on fixing!

@Silly_love:  Im on weight watchers and can’t have certain foods that normally I absolutely love. I was really crabby the other day and FI was late coming home which made me that much more cranky. He finally gets home and comes in with a couple bags and announces “hey stardust, I knwo im late but I stopped on the way home and got us some goodies!”. He pulls out tacos from my absolutel favorite taco place that’s by his job. I was already irritated and the fact that he brought me tacos (that I really shouldn’t be having) just pushed me over the edge. I started bawling and he just stood there stunned because he thought the tacos would make me happy not make me start crying lol. I calmed down and explained and he felt bad but  I sat down and stuffed my face with those tacos lol that made this fat kid cheer up. And then I felt like a piece of crap for eating tacos. I used like half of my extra weekly points on those damn tacos…  🙁

@Silly_love:  My fiance is so last minute and hates planning so the majority of the things he tries to do for me actually become more of a hassle for me (shh don’t tell him)

Two weeks ago he said we could look for a car…..found one a great deal but then he says he’s not available for two weeks (uhh hello the car will be sold) He says we can just look around the day he is available……umm I want to find a deal on a particular car not look around and end up with a 97 honda accord.

The one night he decides to cook I break my no carb rule but he doesnt plan and is suprised when the gorcery store doesn’t have the stuff he needs. Dinner sucked cause it was burnt and wasn’t what he told me it was going to be and I had to clean up.

Recently bought a very expensive treadmill and it didn’t work. He didn’t feel like taking it back but didn’t have time to call for parts. 3 weeks later still didn’t have a working treadmill. He “fixed” it but the belt slipped all the time….pretty much non functional. Guess who had to take it back.

Last weekend he decided to clean the garage. Wow looks super nice….yesterday I went into the basement well guess he just decided to put everything in there….so guess who gets to clean that out.

As u can see the list goes on and on.

Yes. We had a big arguement yesterday about chores and while I was at work last night, he cleaned (like scrubbed) the whole place!! But, he decided to do some ‘re-decorating’ in our almost-right-out-of-a-magazine livingroom. He has no sense of design what so ever and now everything looks so ‘early freshman dorm-ish.’ I was pissed and I can’t even look at the coffee  table right now.

Ah. First world problems.

@jessdoxy:  haha that basement story is perfect!! That’s normally how FI cleans up. He just puts all the clutter in a pile in the closet. THAT DOESN’T COUNT!!

Hahaha, this kind of stuff happens with us all the time, because my FI has no common sense. I try my very hardest not to complain, because I know he’s trying to help, but sometimes I just can’t stop myself.

Yesterday I walked out to the kitchen to find him drying the dishes with the bath mat, which we step on every time we get into and out of the shower. (I don’t even…)

When we were packing for our recent move, I had labeled a bunch of boxes and put them in the hallway. I even told him about one that was kind of a shaky box and also had electronics in it–I also labeled it “Electronics – Careful!” so he would see it and didn’t have to remember what I told him. Well, when I got home from work, he had been packing up some books from our bookshelves, and had stacked like 3 extremely heavy boxes of books on top of the “Electronics – Careful!” box, lol.

I could list a zillion more, but I try not to dwell on them!

Well this is going to sound petty but I recently bought new dog food for my french bulldog, Oscar. (We all live together btw). FI tries to help as much as possible around the house, so the first morning after I got the food he decides to feed it to Oscar without waking me up.

Fast forward to later that day, I didn’t really pay attention and figured he fed Oscar his old food. Well Oscar throws up three times – emptying EVERYTHING he ate, because FI didn’t wean him off his old food and it clearly upset his stomach 🙁

I love my man but sometimes I wish he would just let me do things lol. It’s my fault for not telling him ahead of time, but I just figured I’d have the opportunity to do it myself.
