I think it would be okay. Is he going to be wearing a matching pocket square and/or bouteniere(sp)? I think that would make it more okay.
you mean an orange pocket square? I'm not sure. possibly? lol
As for the bouteniere, I'm not sure either, I'm supposed to be meeting with my flower lady to see what she's made up for me (silk flowers) very soon so I'll be able to see then, but I think I told her just a daisy & some greenery. Oh! I should tell her to put some orange in his bout to match my bouquet! DUH :-P
Mine is wearing an Hermes tie that's bright orange with little bears and pine trees on it. No bout or pocket square. And I'm totally fine with that.
i think that it would be super cute. i've seen a couple of pictures on the blogs with orange ties and it looks nice.

i think orange would look nice! plus, i learned early to let my hubby get his way on certain things, including his outfit. he's the one who has to wear it.

Alright Bee's, FI went to look at tuxes with one of his groomsmen today & when he came home we were talking about it. He said the groomsmen will be wearing the green ties & vests to match the bridesmaids (Fern green from Davids Bridal) and he might wear a burnt orange color tie.
We're getting married outdoors, evening in October, the wedding color is Fern green & the flower is daisies. I am putting orange flowers in with my daisy bouquet but that'll be the only orange in the whole wedding including decor (BM's have only daisy bouquets. Possibly some orange in a random arrangement or two if we end up using them).
Now that I'm thinking about it more, i think the orange tie would be ok just because of the orange flowers in my bouquet. What do the bees think??
