I watch it every once in a while, but I am a Hoarders junkie (I usually catch intervention when I am waiting for Hoarders to come on!)
I watch it when I catch it...sometimes I can't believe that people can become so addicted. In one episode a 20-something guy was super addicted to alcohol...like drinking until blacking out...drinking rubbing alcohol...very sad!
I've seen it, but it's so heartbreaking that I had to turn it off!
I Tivo it every Monday. Love it.
And FYI that "creepy junkie show" won the 2009 Emmy for outstanding reality series, just sayin'...
I've only seen this show twice.
I can't imagine being that addicted either... but I've lived up close and personal with addiction as my SO is a recorvering alcoholic and drug addict/dealer. It's really opened my eyes to a lot of things I could never have imagined.
It's so depressing! I hate the end waiting to find out if they relapsed or if they were clean still. I hate also seeing them abuse their families so bad!!! :(
This was FI's fave show for a long time, so we watched it a lot then, but not so much now.
I can watch Intervention, but it's sad. I can't watch Hoarders though. For some reason that creeps me and and grosses me out more than intervention.
I'm addicted to it- pun totally intended. The girl who was addicted to computer duster/ canned air was my favorite!

Imagine waiting to see if someone will relapse or stay clean in real life, or watching them hurt their family, or hurt you. Not fun. I try not to watch that show because it reminds me of how my life was and could be again.... here's praying for a strong future for my SO.

FI and I are watching Intervention right now, that creepy junkie show that was popular like two years ago. We'd heard about it but never watched it before. SO SAD! :( I can't even pay attention to it because it's too hard to watch. ICK!
