So, this morning, Fiance wants bacon. He figures that he can cover a burner with aluminum foil, and cook the bacon that way! We move in 4 days, so we only had one skillet out, and he was making eggs. I was asleep, I can’t be blamed for this bright idea!
Anyway, the foil burned right through, and is now stuck solidly on the burner. Does anyone know how to get this off?

Perhaps cooking lessons are in order as his wedding gift??? 😉

That’s too funny! If you really can’t get it off you can buy a replacement. I’m guessing this is the stuck part?
And for future reference the “proper” way to cook eggs and bacon is with one skillet. Cook the bacon first, drain off some of the grease and then cook the eggs in what’s left. Delicious! ;-D

@[email protected] yep, that’s it! Covered all over with foil. What the heck, dude, he’s normally totally self-sufficient!
I’ve never cooked eggs with bacon grease, I usually make mine in the oven. (The bacon that is), but ours is a big production around here. I like my eggs with two whites and a yolk, and Fiance uses my extra yolk in his cheesy scrambled eggs, and FI’s kid likes them extra runny. Yuck 😛

It’s a lost cause. You can buy a replacement burner for cheap (like $10) at Home Depot.
