How big is your apartment?  My husband and I only had sleepovers on the weekends when I lived in my apartment but I had a 2 bedroom apartment so there was enough room for the two of us to spread out if needed so we could have ‘alone time’.

I’m sorry.  I would feel the same way that you do if I happened to be in this situation. Can you try talking to him about how it makes you feel?  Maybe you could tell him that you really enjoy waking up next to him in the morning and it makes your day – or whatever you feel comfortable saying.

If you don’t mind my asking, is the roach problem all throughout the entire apartment complex?

I dunno if alone time covers it though, especially when his own place is so near. And roaches? Yuck! If my place had roaches I’d be off visiting all the time!

Has he avoided discussion, or just clammed up and refused to answer? Just wondering what his plan is for after the wedding…!

Hey just thought of something… You don’t fart or snore or kick in your sleep, do you?! Lol… maybe!

My FI grouches about staying over at my place because he hates to pack stuff and think ahead about what he needs to bring. Granted, he lives a few miles down the road, not in the same apartment complex, but he really just hates to haul stuff around and usually angles to get me to come to his place instead. Maybe it’s something like that??

what are your plans for after the wedding? ishe moving in with you? maybe you could nudge him to start moving a few things in and making himself more comfortable there.

Right, so I’m guessing he’s not planning separate bedrooms for the new place then… V strange.

Having said that, it’s pushing 1 am here, and I’m sat in bed with laptop while himself is snoozing on the sofa in front of the telly. He likes to nod off there, and hates that I keep the light on to read etc in bed, for ages. Have ye very different night time routines & habits?

@aunt pol:  Wow, for some reason I thought Ireland was six hours ahead and not five. I don’t know why I thought that.
