SarahSmilesDec28 We are right in Sydney, so about 30-40 mins away from Grand Narrows. FI family is all from the Glace Bay area, I've only lived here the last year and a half. Totally gorgeous area!!
Aside- My wedding is on Dec 29th, we're almost Date twins! Also, I dont suppose your in Moncton? :P That's where my fam is.

I don't have the actual set, but that's the engagment ring we picked out (: My SO hasn't proposed yet but hopefully it'll be soon (I know he has the ring haha)! I've only seen the band without the centre stone and it's so pretty and sparkly and dainty! You'll love it (:
What size Moissanite did you pick?
I don't have the finished ring yet, but when I tried on the setting I balanced a CZ on the band so that we would have some indication of size. The CZ in the picture is 6.5mm I believe and we ended up going with 7mm (: We originally thought the CZ was 7mm which is why we ordered the 7mm Amora, but it turns out that when we measured it later it ended up being 6.5mm ;) Ooh well, I'm not complaining haha

No, FI grew up in Halifax and I am from Fredericton. We live in Fredericton.
Our photogs were from Moncton though and they were FABULOUS. Are you getting married in Moncton or Cape Breton?
SarahSmilesDec28 We are getting married in CB. FI has a huge family, and pretty much all of them are in the area. Of our 120 invited guests, 20 of them are my family lol.
I bought my wedding dress At Sparkle boutique in Fredericton! Their weren't any stores in Moncton that carried Maggie Sottero, and I was in love with one of her dresses. BTW i creeped your photo's and they are stunning (which I'm sure has a lot to do with the Bride haha!) I love that your husband wore a Kilt.
sugarpea We got a 1.1c equivalent cushion cut. I think the measurement is 6mm. I wanted to get a stone similar in size to my original ring (lost my diamond solitaire, worst day of my life) I was a little worried that the stone would be to big for the band, but seeing your pic, I can tell that it's going to be spectacular :) My ring size is 5.75, it'll look pretty much the same. Did you get a round brilliant?

@capergrrl: Yeah (: after much debate we decided on a 1.25 ct equivalent round (it was between round and cushion). I love cushion cuts, I think they're so pretty! I'm so excited to see your pictures when you get the rings!
