So what dress were you going to get originally before your fiance found out what you were planning to wear?
Ohhh I was going to have it made, but didn't have it made yet. So at least I didn't spend any money on it yet. I did however spend money on the maggie sottero dress that I need to sell pretty soon, but that's another story lol.
Yeap...this wedding dress thing is driving me crazy lol. I never imagined it would be this big of an ordeal to me =\
Don't even go there. My fiance thinks I've obsessed so much about the wedding dress , so much so that he finally gave in to me picking another dress I liked over the one my mom thought looked better on me.

I actually don't have any pictures of myself in the maggie sottero (coco) dress b/c the bridal salon wouldn't allow for it.

So since that is off the table, I am going to go with the christos dress above lol. I am confident this is it now...I think it even matches my venue better with the water and all...plus...my wedding is in september (9/7), I don't really have the time to change my mind again, I am done! lol :)
First of all, I love all of the dresses that you've shown. If your fiance saw the dress and you both wanted a surprise, but you really love the first choice, why don't go about like you changed dresses, but don't? I mean, complain about looking for a new dress...act it out...but go with the original. He'll have forgotten it by then bc he'll have imagined that you got a different dress!
Those dresses are beautiful! I am also having mine made actually with a vendor from Etsy. :) Keep us posted on how this goes for you!
Wow! They're both gorgeous! Mr. Star saw the designer pic of my dress, but I'm not sweating it. It looks SO different on!
I love love love the second dress - that is the one I really want!
Love the dress. Please be careful when ordering on line. Although etsy itself has a great reputation, there are a a few vendors I have seen on the boards that people had problems with, So do a web search and check with the BBB BEFORE ordering!
Both dresses are gorgeous! I don't know how your fiance is, but mine would not know a dress from a picture on my computer to the one I wore. There have been so many times I wore an old dress that he had seen me in millions of times before hand and yet he still thought it was new.

So...I am going to change it. We both wanted it to be a surprise and he just happened to look at my laptop while I had it all laid out...since I didn't have it made yet...I guess it was "ok".
So here is my next choice. It is part of christos 2010 collection (it is such an amazing collection!).
And I am definitely going to replace that sash!!! lol.
I am going with the trumpet one, but I am also including christo's other dress that I looove as well! Too bad I'm too short to pull it off lol...The fuller dress has a dotted tulle overlay as well :)

I am planning on having an etsian (someone from etsy hehe) make this dress for me. I would get it in white instead of ivory though. What do you guys think about the dress?
