Fiancé told me he thinks he will cry at the weddinon but not because we are getting married but because his Parents wont be there . They live in Mexico and will not be able to be at the wedding. Now if he does start crying I won’t know if its happiness or sadness :(.

oh how sad for him that his parents aren’t able to attend =(
im sure on the wedding day despite missing them and wishing they were there he will be very happy to be getting married!

Is there wifi at your venu? Could you set up a chair with a laptop and a skype call so they can see each other in real time?

Is there anyway to get his parents to attend? I would be very sad too.

@chelseahurtado89: is there a way to see them beforehand? or could you look into cheap flights after the wedding to go see them? if he knew he was going to see them before or after, i’m sure it would really cheer him up!
maybe you could contact them and have them write him a letter for the day of! you could get it sent to your office so he wouldn’t see it and have it delivered the morning of.
it must be hard for him not to have them there – don’t worry, i’m sure there will be tears of joy too! i would focus on trying to find a way for him to feel closer to them on the day.

🙁 Thats so sad! I’m not sure the reason as to why his parents can’t make it, but it sounds like this could be a golden opportunity to surprise him with his parents actually coming to the wedding, but that sounds pretty expensive. What about skyping his parents in on the morning of the wedding?

@Asia: I love this idea 😀 I think the OP should look into this.
