My mom gets them and she looooves them. I actually love them as well, but my husband wasn't so keen on all the colors. We get her something in a new color every Christmas. She has built up quite a collection and the stuff is really sturdy. Whenever we eat over there I love the color combos she makes on the table when we eat.
I love the Sunflower, Lemongrass, Shamrock, Plum & Tangerine!
My dad has these dishes and I think they're well worth the investment. They're really sturdy and very pretty. My younger brother does all the dishes at my dad's house, and so far none of the dishes have chipped or broken. They can definitely handle some abuse.
My aunt collects them, and she swears by them. They're good quality, from what I remember, and they're super cute. She gets them in all the colours because she's clumsy, so when she breaks one she doesn't have to worry about replacing it in a specific colour. I'd recommend them.
We have these in about five different colors and we love them! I don't think any have broken or chipped as a PP said and we've had them for a couple of years. Definitely worth the investment. We weren't even going to register for everyday dinnerware really because we love it although we did think of trying to build up certain colors more or to add more colors.
FiestaWare is great! My parents and sister both own Fiesta sets, and they hold up well. We were going to register for those too, because I loved the colors, but decided to go with white so we don't have to replace dishes whenever I decide I want a new color scheme (which is often).
They're our everyday dishes and I love them. I went with the variety of colors option. I think we may have two sets of orange and brown just because we had a few duplicate wedding gifts. I don't know if you have a Kohl's near you, but they often have MUCH better deals on Fiestaware than Macy's.
I LOVE my fiesta ware. I have a variety of random colors...no real rhyme or reason. That way it's easy to replace. I actually purchased mine at the outlet....they were super inexpensive. <3 it!!
my mom has these. she actually gets most of them from antique stores...proof it holds up well! if you go that route though, the old plates can't be put in the microwave. new fiesta is microwaveable.
we love them! we got tangerine, lemongrass, chocolate, and sunflower.. and want to start bringing in some turquoise. they are not expensive, easy to replace and you know they will be around forever and not go out. We had a mishap this summer where our kitchen cabinet flung itself off the wall. we lost a lot of stuff but somehow MOST of the Fiesta remained intact!
SO's mom has them, they are cool cause you can get them in all different colors and mix and match and they all still go together! I love them
We have a ton of fiestaware. It gets superficial scratches (mostly noticable on the dark colors), but I still love it, it is quite durable.
My mom has a set with the primary colors (red, green, yellow, orange, blue, and purple). I would say the purple and blue show scratches the most.
I think its fun if you go with the Red color as your primary color and then have one or two accent colors.
I think my mom got hers from Bealls and they were always on sale like 40% off.
I love my fiestaware. I hope to someday have a place setting in all of my favorite colors! it's just so bright and beautiful!! You wont regret it.
We have the Fiesta scarlet dishes and love them. Very large and sturdy. Definitely worth it.
I have fiestaware and I absolutely LOVE it. They're durable and colorful. You can mix and match if you want and if you ever break a piece, you can easily replace it! I got mine at Macy's, but they also sell them at dillards. Macy's will occassionaly put them on sale (like half off) and that's when I got mine.

That's what I got and it was around $100 for 4 places settings. I would keep checking back frequently to see when they drop the price.
I love our Fiestaware! We have Cobalt, and it's perfect! Is Scarlet the red or the more burgundy color? One thing I will say about the red is it has always struck me as a little orangey. Nothing wrong with that, but if you're looking for a bold, true red I don't think Fiesta has nailed it. I love the quality though and they are super cute!
Another vote for love it! We have the shamrock, peacock and cobalt for our everyday dishes and they are perfect for us.
We got several pieces as wedding gifts, and I adore them! Very sturdy, and so many bright, pretty colors! Would definitely recommend them.

Does anyone have these dishes? I am considering replacing my dishes. I originally started replacing my old dishes and bought a fairly inexpensive set from Target, but they're quite trendy and I'm already getting sick of the pattern on them. Now, I'm considering something more classic, but I really don't think I want just plain white dishes. I'd rather have something that reflects our personality, and my kitchen is mostly in red, so I thought the scarlet color would be perfect, and if I decide I'm getting bored I can toss in a few other colors from the line & pop it up a bit.... I'm just wondering what others think of these dishes, and whether they're worth the investment....
