I have a huge pot of left over (healthy) chicken chili in the fridge. It’s here. It’s easy. It’s cheap. It’s healthy.
And all I can think about is running out to arbys or sonic.
I even went running this evening! I should be encouraged to eat healthy! Argh. I am losing this battle with my will power.

Oh man, I know the feeling. I’ve been craving crappy fast food all week. I’ve resisted so far, but I’m losing my willpower!!

Aw, I felt like that tonight, too, we ended up eating chicken sandwiches at home… but I was satisfied with it. Make sure you eat something that will fill you up and keep you satisfied, because if you’re not, then you’ll eat the chicken chili AND the arbys! Good luck!!!

I want an m&m cookie… soooo badly!!
I say eat the chili & wait an hour. If you’re still famished then get a burger. Honestly, I’ve found that if I don’t fill a craving (even just a couple bites will do it sometimes) then I start eating anything & everything to try and fill my craving.
You can have takeout and treats… you just need to change your choices. Instead of a meal, get the burger or the fries– not both. Instead of a 1/4lb burger, get the kids cheeseburger… etc.
If you do fall off the wagon don’t beat yourself up!! Little changes & baby steps.

Corgi YES you read my mind. I am in the same boat! I made a huge crock-pot of healthy veggie curry but am craving pizza! And too exhausted to walk on over to the kitchen…spoon some out…work the microwave. Sigh.

I went for a middle ground, ladies. Instead of going to get fast food I did eat the chili… but I ate it on top of tortilla chips with cheese on top (i.e. a very chili-y nachos). Still bad for me, but not as bad as fast food.
I wish I could say it was my willpower for health reasons… but honestly I was too lazy/cheap to go buy food haha. Plus I hate to see food go to waste so this chili needs to be eaten.
Why does take-out just taste so much better than anything I make at home? (oh the deep fryer and chemicals? Oh ok… heh)
