Here is my dress on the model for refrence, my camera dosent show all the details.

Ok, that dress is gorgeous, but so is yours! I love the delicate sparkle on the bottom half of yours much better than on the other one. Plus, yours is already altered to fit you like a glove, right? I would definitely keep the one you have!
I personally love the dress you have bought!! It looks so beautiful and I'm sure you feel amazing when you have it on! It's so hard not continuing to browse gowns (many at better bargains) after we have found "the one"..
I'd bet if you were able to try on the etsy gown you probably wouldn't have the same "This is it!" feeling.
I like yours much better. The other one is pretty, but not as clean and well put together as yours. I think if you're going to splurge on a special item, have it be the dress! It's in every picture, it's a possible heirloom. Keep your dress, really it's perfect and I like the lace work much more.
Youve made my night ladies.
@Juliepants: I havnt been to my first fitting yet, this was just when I bought it. I do love the sparkle on mine, I think it fits what I was going for with my wedding in the park.
@fcbella: I did feel great in it, its so flowy and soft. I just wonder if a more fitted gown would show my figure better? Although sexy really isnt what Im going for.
@KatyElle: Good point. Its just so tough when there are so many out there but it feels good to have someone second my decision.
@fcbella: It does make a difference when one cant try the dress on too. I dont know how many dresses I thought were jaw dropping and I hated on.
I think your dress is gorgeous....plus I think there is something a little fishy about the Etsy seller. No feedback on the page, and looking at the pics and things....almost feels a little like a Chinese Seller. What does everyone else think?
@Firie: Thanks! Thats why I dont think I could ever comit to an internet purchase, no matter how well priced. I would be afraid something would go wrong.
@Firie: Yeah something is off there... I can't help but think the lace on the Etsy dress looks ironed on. Not as intricate and subtle as OP's dress which shimmers.
@KatyElle: I didnt look to far into the seller, just saw the dress, but now that you say that I guess an extra $1000 could mean my dress is the better made one. I hope so lol
@eeruhlig: its so true! I know when I went shopping, many of the styles I thought I would like just didn't look right. Like yourself I ended up spending a good amount on a dress I fell in love with! Like KatyElle said, it's a wonderful investment and worth every penny!
That Etsy dress in beautiful ! But sweetie, your dress is gorgeous ! It looks wonderful on you and I am loving the details !! You can rest at ease darling, your dress is amazing :)
@eeruhlig: Your dress is gorgeous! I am also short (but with a long torso) and I tried on a drop-waist gown just to see. I thought it looked okay in the mirror, but when I saw pics, I realized I looked like a munchkin! So no regrets there.
As for the price, I hear ya. I get the same feeling whenever I see posts on here showcasing a beautiful wedding for a fraction of my budget (and including special "extras" that I feel like we can't afford). Just remember that you chose your dress for a reason.
@LittleRiver: Thanks. I tried on a dress that was fitted to my hips and looked okay but the skirt kinda took over my bottom half. My dress flows all the way from the empire waist, which i think is a better look. I feel like I could have gotten a dress at a better price but I was just too excited to wait! Im finding that all of my wedding planning is going this way, I find something I love thats affordable and get it whether there are cheaper options out there or not because I dont feel like sniffing them out. Oh well lol

I just happened across this dress on etsy for..... $400!!!
http://www.etsy.com/listing/92100478/exquisite-satin-tulle-sweetheart
Gorgeous. Problem is I already have a dress that I paid $1500 for after tax and alterations. Here is is on me.
I really do like my dress, but it just blows me away that the other is one is so INEXPENSIVE! Im not sure how the drop waist would look oon me becuase I am very short, but dang is it beautiful. I am trying really hard not to have dress regret, but its not easy.
