Welcome and congratulations! We thought about having a Fuji wedding, but it was too expensive for my AZ family and his CA family to get there. So we decided to add it to our honeymoon destination list. Happy planning.
Ha! Where in AZ are you? I'm in Scottsdale, as we speak...Congratulations! Are you doing a local wedding then?
I want Fiji, and we were good with it, but now more and more people are wanting in, and they are people that future hubby and I would want to help financially, and so we are now looking around again just to be sure this will be our destination. Most of the resorts that have emailed me back are very low capacity
Sigh...a DW was supposed to be so we could just run off on our own...but I can't really complain about people being willing to block off their schedules, cough up cash, and be willing to hop on a plane for us, now can I?
BF keeps half-joking (half being he actually wants to do it to some degree but knows my family wants a traditional wedding) that he wants our wedding in Fiji... enjoy! I'll keep an eye on this thread, maybe you can convince me :-)
I am from Scottsdale, but we are currently living in Portland, OR. We moved here to finish school last year. We are getting married in Yosemite National Forest. It is beautiful there and the next best thing to our dream beach wedding. However, we may renew our vows on our honeymoon so we can have beach photos to add to our wedding album.

Well hello ladies! This is my first post, so thanks for having me :)
We're planning for Fiji January 2013...anyone else? I spent about two weeks looking at venues...and caterers...and prices BLEGH with the soon to be hubby and that finally brought him ofver to the DW side of things :D
