I am so so so sorry for you and your FI and family! That is so hearbreaking, especially since he lost his mother as well. I wish I could say something to make you feel better, but I know there is nothing that will truly help *hugs*

Found out this morning that my FIL is in the hospital. He has a disease called Alpha-1 that causes his liver not to produce a certain protein which in turn causes him not to be able to breathe as well and deliver as much oxygen in his blood.
Well, it's to the point where his liver is failing, his lungs are going and now so are his kidneys. The prognosis doesn't look very promising. Please send any prayers, thoughts, good vibes or whatever else you can. I'd really appreciate it.
I just feel so bad for DH because his mother passed away last April and now it looks like his dad may be going too. :( He's flying in on emergency leave tonight.
