I just picked up my gown and it fits me well! I had to get it taken in twice and it feels great now, but I HATE my back/arms – Ive been eating well for awhile now and Im planning to ramp up my arm exercises this week and next — my wedding is in 10 days, so what exercises can I do to slim down my arms/back? I hate how I carry my weight there, but its how my mom is built too.
ANyway, here is the dress final pics! Thanks bees!

Barbiestylez: UMMM, you’re kidding right?? Girl, there’s not an ounce of FAT on your AMAZING body!!! U look Gorgeous in your dress. 🙂

Barbiestylez: You are such a bombshell! I know even beautiful girls have insecurities, so I won’t minimize your feelings…BUT…….I think you look great. I’d kill for your arms. I hate mine

I don’t know if this will help, but it might be worth a try: tricep pushups the day of. Everytime I do them my arms look tighter, so it might be worth a shot for photos, etc 🙂

Barbiestylez: Girlllll…come over here so my dangling arm fat can whack you upside the head!!!
Seriously, you look ab-so-lutely drop dead gorgeous in that dress and i’m sure in everything you have.
Trust me..NO ONE will be looking at what you think is back fat or untoned arms. NO ONE! You look absolutely fantastic. IF you truly feel you must, just look up youtube videos and do some weight lifting.

You look absolutely amazing!!! So exciting!
Truthfully you probably cant make much of a visible change in back and arms in 10 days, but if you want to try (and i know i have tried, haha 🙂 ) then I would do the following for the 10 days leading up to the wedding:
Push Ups, switching up how wide you spread your arms for each set
Tricep excercises with free weights with you have them (google for ideas)
Avoid simple carbs (white carbs such as pastas, bread, etc, and sugar)
Drink lots of water
Ramp up lean protein
I like to use a finely milled bronzer with mild shimmer/glowing effect on my upper arms, shoulders, and collar bones and that always makes me look more toned as well. My fav is Tarte Amazonian Clay Body bronzer — its on sale at sephora right now too. 🙂
Not that you NEED to change a damn thing, you look perfect!

Yep, tricep dips and regular pushups. This site has some good workouts, too: http://www.prevention.com/fitness/strength-training/best-moves-tone-arms-fast
But for what it’s worth, you look amazing!

Not like you need to BUT coming someone with a LONG personal history of fat arms…nothing helps but losing weight. Under our arms is ripped muscle and eveyrone has a sixpack! True story. Losing the fat on top of it exposes all that nice muscle. I swear!

Thank you everyone!! I know I am tough on myself I just hate my arms, always have! I am going to be doing arm exercises and eating super clean for the next 10 days, if I can make a small difference it’s worth it! I am happy with my dress overall though 🙂 I appreciate all the love! And hopefully my veil will cover up any back/arm issues I have the day of! I have to say I’ve never seen an ugly bride so I hope I have that bridal glow 🙂

sharksgrl99: thank you and you are right… No one will notice my flabby arms haha except me of course. If flabby arms are my biggest problem I need to let it go Lol!
polyblonde: I knew you’d come through w some good advice! Thanks girl!!! I am planning on lots of tilapia and veggies and water all next week!
bbbria: thank you! I will def look at that site!
lealorali: yea I figured, my body likes to hang on to these last 10 lbs so I’m screwed haha. Lots of bronzing may minimize the look of them :/ I wish I was built like Jennifer Lopez– big ass, tiny upper body. I got the big ass at least… Haha

Barbiestylez: I think everyone has insecurities and I’m not trying to minimize your feelings but you’re being a bit too harsh on yourself. You look absolutely fit, healthy, thin, and gorgeous! Just keep doing what you’re doing and you’re gonna look amazing the day of!
Can’t wait to see your recaps 😀

You look great, but corsets are unforgiving little monsters! Since you’re already working out and eating a healthy diet and this is a QUICK fix, have you tried going to a spa and asking for a wrap to sweat out any water weight? I’m not sure if they can wrap your arms, but it never hurts to ask.
Honestly, you look ready for that aisle as-is, but if it eases your worries then go for it! 🙂

MissMarple: Thanks! I cant wait to share my recaps with the bee:)
Floofy: I actually worked at a salon that did wraps — I would like to do them at home if possible — Im looking them up now to see what I can find;)
