The final pictures from the jeweler is in and I have more options! EEEK!

I absolutely love the ring in every way but I need to choose if I want the matching wedding band to be a closed-regular band or an open-split band. Is the regular band too booring? is the split band to busy? Help me bees, I love them both!

Option 1: Open - Split Band

Option Two: Regular closed bandFinal pics from Jeweler/ Wedding Band options : wedding Closedband

Wow, I loooooove your ring and the options! My preference was the single band, but I liked the split until I saw the second, I don't think you can go wrong!

I think the open one is really pretty, but I voted regular closed for practicality.  I just feel like that open one could snag pretty easily on clothes and stuff.

I like the split band. It seems so much more unique and special and highlights the fact that your ring is also unique.

They both are so awesome and unique but for some reason I like the single, closed band a little more!

Thank you everyone for the sweet comments, I love it too! for size reference it is an 8mm rose cut diamond,

I was also worried about the split band catching on things and was looking for any bees that had split rings in the forum but havn't found anything, does anyone have a split RHR that they might be able to offer some advice about?

Both are beautiful, I prefer the second option  - Keeps the focus on the engagement ring!

@love108:  They are made by Kate Szabone, an artist on etsy and I coudln't be happier.

The inspiration came from this mossy ring http://www.etsy.com/listing/83067774/round-moissanite-branch-ring

I have become smitten with rose cut anything and seeing the diamonds her shop I couldn't have been happier with the result.

@Mrs.Lotus:  Awesome to know another bee has tree texture! did you get it from etsy? or somewhere else? I was looking on pictures on the boards before we decided but didn't come up with much I can't wait to see it in person

I love them both. But i love the open one 51% to 49% BUT it would be easier to get the closed one because think of all the things your ring is going to get caught on/or stuck. They are both gorg!

I far prefer the second option. The split shank looks awkward to me.

    @globalmargaret:

I did get my band from Etsy and love it!  It's very thin and just has tree bark texture (pic below).  I love the "branch" style of your ring.  It is beautiful!

I really don't think the split one would catch on things! Rings catch when they're high up, like those really high-set solitares (drives me nuts! I like flat rings). It's pretty flat against the finder. I love the split one! WAY prettier than the closed one.

Wow your ring is beautiful! I would go with the split ring since it is so unique. And I agree with julie12 that I dont think it would snag.

What a GORGEOUS ring!! Wow. Total ring envy over here.  I love the look of both options, but the first one is much more unique. I'd go for the first one. Congrats!!
