Hi ladies!
Ok, so I did another poll earlier and definitely whittled it down. But I missed a picture that I really like.
So now I think it should be simplified with only 2. (and hopefully I'm not harassing you! I'm guessing there will be new bees that see this anyway :)
So please vote and help me decide which of these two I should choose! Thank you, thank you, thank you!!

Picture 1. Picture 2 is a lovely picture, but it feels a little too intimate for a STD.
Oh I love both of these pictures. I agree that #2 is a bit intimate for a STD, but I don't think you can go wrong with whichever you choose. You guys look great! Such nice pictures!
I voted for #1 but out of curiousity, do have any where both of y'all are looking at the camera?
@jwilk241: Only one where we're actually both looking. But it's not a good one.

@jwilk241: Well the other option is to use 3 photos. Use one portrait (Photo one here was originally portrait so we can use that - I just changed it), and 2 landscape next to it one on top of the other. What do you think?
We should have loads more pictures we haven't seen yet. (She only gave us the ones with the banner for the STD) We're picking up the disk tomorrow!
@NewYorkLady: the only thing about using multiple photos is that the banner will become so small that people might overlook the date. I had the same issue with mine so I stuck with using only one picture (as a postcard). Here's a link to the post I created about mine and you can judge for yourself :)

His smile is great in #1, but you kind of look like you're going to eat his face or something, LOL! I'd like it better if you were smiling too.
I think #2 is SOOOOO CUTE!!!!! You both look really happy and in love, and that's what a wedding is all about. I vote #2!!!
@EffieTrinket: You think picture #1 isn't intimate???! She's all over him!! I feel like #1 is something we shouldn't really be privy to. #2 is just cute, and they're going to kiss at the ceremony so...
@Christy42213: In Number One, at least one of them is looking at the camera. That makes me feel like it was meant for my eyes. Looking at Number 2, it looks like the photographer caught them in a candid moment for just the two of them. I don't mean intimate like sexually. But I do feel like a little bit of an interloper looking at it. I can't really explain it. But I prefer STDs where it looks more like a posed photo of both (or at least one) looking at the camera. If someone was to invite me to something or tell me about something in person, they would look at me, not someone else. I know, it's weird and I can't really explain it, but that's my opinion. They're kind of all over one another in both photos, which is fine by me, but I do prefer the one where I can see faces. It seems like a good balance of showing their love and inviting the viewer to be witness to it.

I could always say screw the banner and use one of our other engagement shoot photos.. we get them tomorrow. But seems like a waste of having bought the banner for this specific purpose haha.

@howtobeawife: I have to agree about the eating the face part. I don't quite get pic #1 except that his smile is amazing. So definitely #2 for me.
@jwilk241: I see what you mean. Though We'll have the date on the back as well since it's a postcard so I'm not *too* concerned about that.

I voted for the first one. Way cutter and more appropriate, IMO.
The banner looks weird in the second photo. What is it doing hanging around you like that? It just looks awkward. If you prefer no. 2, I'd ditch the banner & use one of your regular photos . . .
It does NOT look like you're eating his face in no. 1. You're smiling & it looks like laughing, so even if somebody does think of bites, it's only like a playful love bite lol. But it never even entered my mind, the huge burst of happiness coming from that photo was the main thing I noticed.
In addition to the banner looking awkward in no. 2, I agree with a PP who said it looks too intimate for a STD. If it was from a different amgle it'd be better.
BTW, your babies are gonna be gorgeous!
@NewYorkLady: That Etsy postcard would work well! I like it. I also love the pictures your photographer blogged. I'm not going to lie, I'm dying to see one where both of y'all are lookng and smiling at the camera...y'all both have such great smiles :)

@jwilk241: I love the piggyback one! It's sweet yet you can see both of your faces. Why don't you write the date over that one?
@AlwaysSunny: haha, these are the OP's pictures. I'm just trying to help her decide which picture to use and these were my favorites from her photographer's blog about their engagement shoot. But glad you also like one of my choices for her ;)
I voted #1 because I prefer smiling pictures over kissing pictures. But that is just my personal preference.
@jwilk241: I love SO many of the pictures. We want to use a date banner one because we paid to have the banner made. I LOVE the piggy back pictures but only the first one you posted can be cropped to landscape and it doesn't quite work as nicely with the other photos as the one we chose below.
We've chosen the ones we want though. We kept swapping pictures in and out of the mock up I did to see which pictures worked the best together. This is what we decided on.. (and look! you can see our faces in one of them! haha)
Disclaimer: this is my own (very much not designer-y) mock up just to see the photos together - I did add a vintage filter though since we want that - we're having a designer from etsy make it:

(Putting "Save the Date" on the front instead of our names, taking out the flower on the back, adding 'deliver to with a little pointing hand, pictures with a vintage filter, adding more text on the back, changing where it says 'Post Card' to "J+S".... I will share the proof she sends me if I can as well as the final version)
This is with the piggy back picture. I'm not going thru the effort of doing the filter for it tho haha
@NewYorkLady: Awww I like the one with the piggy back picture. It adds a little playfulness to the otherwise intimate loving pictures.
@NewYorkLady: I like the first collage! Really I think both are wonderful but I just really love that bottom right photo.
If you're doing just one photo, I prefer the first one. Seeing the groom's smile while the bride dotes on him is sort of rare in engagement photos, and I think it's wonderful! The second is adorable but does make me feel like I'm intruding on something. ;)

I really love the last trio of photos you posted - you two staring at each other with the date, piggybacking and standing at the water. All of the photos are really great but I think the trio of those are amazing and so sweet!
I like the options witha the three pictures-
my sister got married and I had not met the groom yet- no had ALOT of people cause she is from UT and he is from HI-
the picture showed her face but he was looking down- as a guest who only knows one of the couple I want to see the faces!!!!
and not have them be smootching-
this is my personal opinion.
I love the piggy back picture but FI isn't thrilled with how it looks as part of the post card.
Plus do like having one picture in it where we're looking at the camera so you can see our faces. The piggy back one doesn't show that.
