Thank you, bees, for all your advice and opinions when I was posting about this! It was not an easy decision to make. I was told I’d be given all my vacation for the upcoming year that I had requested through my current employer (Thanksgiving and Christmas weeks) and I have the ability to take vacation when needed in the next year as long as my work is done and done well. The salary was firm below mine by $1400. Benefits are not as extensive as my current corporate employer. Last, my drive would increase considerable (10 minutes to 40 minutes) and…..
I TOOK IT
You’re all right. Being happy and in my studied field was more important to me. I had prayed for a way out of my job, God delivered, and today I looked up a daily scripture to find this one. I made the call after I read it- the company prides itself on being Christian based. Psalm 37:3-6
Trust in the Lord and do good;
dwell in the land and enjoy safe pasture.
4 Take delight in the Lord,
and he will give you the desires of your heart.
5 Commit your way to the Lord;
trust in him and he will do this:
6 He will make your righteous reward shine like the dawn,
your vindication like the noonday sun.
And you know what else?? They matched my salary! I start the 1st of October. End here the 20th of September. Which means I can still make it to zombie prom in Philly
I’m feeling great!
