i like the simplicity and the flow feel it has to it... great find
thank you, thank you... i'm so glad that i can breathe in this dress (let alone eat!)
How exciting! Im very happy you found a dress, and its a beautiful one at that!
Yay! I'm glad you were able to find something that worked for you! And it's so pretty!
the best part is that it's only 275 bucks, because it's a "prom" dress :-D
here's what it looks like on me... sorry for the frumpy look. i was REALLY tired by this time. i swear i was more excited that i look in the photo!
gorgeous!!! so flowy and romantic! and.. modest? lol not sure that's the word I'm looking for- it covers all of the necesary parts without looking the least bit matronly!

so... i'm the one who did a SOS post on wedding dress searches a few months ago because of a piercing i had to hide.
thing is, i have a sternum piercing. yes, inbetween my boobs. and with wedding dress trends nowadays, it was SO hard to find a dress that would keep the piercing on the down-low.
why do I have to hide it in the first place anyways?
simply put, his parents do not know about *the* piercing. they're very old-world and uber uber conservative - way more strict than mine combined, times 10. while my parents can handle having an off-beat daughter (eh, the first one out of three was bound to go wrong, right?), his had a hard time dealing with my multiple ear piercings. a piercing inbetween my boobs, i think that would throw them off the edge.
my mom flew down an hour to help me find the dress. a covert operation of sorts - my parents eloped, so mom never had wedding dress to call her own. after a grueling hour or so at david's, we drove down to the mall down to the bloomingdales down the street and - WHAM! found the dress at the entrance. silky, light, and unfussy - everything that i wanted - AND covered my boobs. we had the alterations lady come on by and do her magic, cue two weeks of anxious waiting, and bam, the dress is now at my house.
needless to say, i am SUPER excited. and giddy. so i had to share!
