We FINALLY are getting our Engagement pics done on Tuesday!! I know it’s only a month before our wedding, but it’s something we really wanted to have done since we do not have a lot of nice pictures of the two of us, despite being together for 7 years! I’m so excited, but also nervous as to how they will turn out. It’ll be 4:30 at a park, and we’re bringing our dog to get some cute shots with him as well. Beyond that…not many ideas….
Does anyone have any advice? I’m also torn between skirt vs. pants – more posing options with pants….

@laurenm78: Do you get an outfit change? I think both looks would be great!

Try to be as natural and comfortable as possible. It might sound easier than it will be, but it show in your photos. Also have fun with it. Goof around, laugh, enjoy it!

I agree with trying to get in an outfit change. That way you can do both looks. Plus, you don’t want a ton of pictures in the same outfit!!

@pengoala & @MissCountryGirl727 Thank you for the outfit change advice. My photog had recommended one outfit, but I think I’ll email him and ask if it’s possible to do two.
@GeorgiaBride5 Thank you! That is some good advice, for sure!
I just feel like I should know more going into this and am worried that the pics won’t turn out well because I don’t really have any ideas, other than the dog. That being said, we splurged a little on our photogs so that we would KNOW we would get good pics, so I guess it’s just trusting them, right? On to scouring Pinterest this weekend, and the Bee – I’ve seen some great shots on here!
ETA: Apparently I didn’t “reply” correctly – my apologies as I’m rather new! 🙂

Get a manicure, wear something romantic – a breezy summer dress is always timeless and classic… be genuine, act like the photographer is not even there, and you will get the best photos! 😉
