@millermelly:  I think a cathedral length veil would look amazing with this dress. Since the dress doesn’t have too many details you can bling up your accessories!  Maybe a lace veil? I think the long length would be a fun way to add a little extra drama! Its a bummer your parents don’t like the birdcage, bc I think that would look great too.

I would wear a cathedral-length lace veil!

No advice but I love your dress!  The back is amazing.

There are different types of tulle used to make veils.  Just look for something really sheer and not very gathered so that is stays sheer.  You can take it off for the reception.

My daughter did not want a veil.  I made one for about $8 and she loves it now.  Hers is more gathered and narrow so it does not wrap around her shoulders and its just a little bit poufy.

You just have to find the right one.  It will look beautiful.

Cathedral veil for sure, that gown is so elegant and I think a long, sweeping veil would really add to that effect. As others have said, the veil won’t cover up the detail of the skirt at all. Otherwise you could go for a fingertip style.

Since the dress is so simple, you could probably get a blingy necklace 🙂 I say hair up to show off the back of the dress!
