54 days to go, and counting!! Anywho, I have been working diligently on trying to find the perfect, inexpensive, and easy centerpiece for months now. I had always liked the idea of the floating candle bowls, but my heart was set on a pomander until two weeks ago when my mom and I decided hey, let’s just give them a try since the reception venue will be kind of dark. Tip from my florist: She has seen glass crack when the floating candle gets over nearish/under the edge. She suggested a couple of threads of thin clear/ iridescent “grass” floating around the candle to keep it from floating toward the edges

@78science: Thanks for the advice! I will definitely have to try that. As of right now, I have gel beads holding the candle in the center. I’m thinking of adding smaller candles as well

Personally I dislike the mirror thing, and in this case I don’t think you need them at all, it makes them look a bit too busy. Other than that theyre great!
