TiffaniAngel1990:  Congratulations on your engagement! That looks like such a beautiful spot, and your ring is abolutely gorgeous! Wishing you so much happiness.

As for a pic of mine, don’t mind if I do!

Mine is on the right, and my FI is on the left 🙂

ETA: Wow, the lighting looked less off on my iPad. Here’s a better view, me on the left and FI on the right!

TiffaniAngel1990:  gorgeous! and congrats! if you have home owner or contents insurance you can just add it on. At least that’s what I did when I had mine… It was really inexpensive!

TiffaniAngel1990:  Congrats!! the ring and the view is absolutely STUNNING.

RE: insurance – i have perfect circle.  Both wedding bands, my e ring and my husbands rolex watches are all covered.  Homeowners doesn’t usually cover much…you would have to really check the policy.  Here’s a link on what PC covers http://www.perfectcircleinsurance.com/Jewelry-Insurance/Our-Coverage

you can also run a quote.  If your ring is valued at over 5k then they usually require an appraisal.  Since appraisals are usually super inflated, i actually called and spoke to a rep and they allowed me to submit the receipts for the setting and diamond.  We plan on getting an appraisal every few years to cover replacement cost and update the policy as necessary.

Oh and here’s our rings!

TiffaniAngel1990:  You would have the ring specifially added to your home owners or contents insurance. Just as if you had a one of a kind picasso or some other high value item. The rings essentially gets their own policy…  That’s how it worked for me anyway.
