finally finished my first DIY!

    after a few months of saving websites and pictures and ideas, I finally finished a project, my swizzle sticks!  I just realized that my wedding is less than nine months away, which I guess isn't that close, but I was a little overwhelmed and needed to get crackin!

    @sewing they are stamped, I originally planned to emboss them, but quickly realized that would just be crazy seeing how I made over 200 of them!

    @Lorienne, they actually didn't photograph too well, they are really different shades of cream and brown with brown ink, I'm kinda going for a more rusticy theme, but those colors would be gorgeous and definately more interesting than brown!

    @iggies, they're bamboo skewers I cut in half, I think I found them at the dollar store, gotta love a bargain

    @amariem25 they are basically just cocktail stirrers, totally unnecessary, but something fun I could add to our bar!

    @ccranetobe I'm not 100% sure how thick the cardstock was, I have since thrown away the package it came in, it's thin though, even with two circles glued together, it's still pretty thin

    These came out great! I did something similar but just used ribbon to make flags, now I wish I'd thought of something like this instead!
