congrats!!!! I know this must be a great feeling, because we are going through the same thing right now. Neither of us go to church, so it's been really hard to find someone. A guy that FI grew up with and friend of the family is a preacher now, and FMIL is supposed to be asking him if he will do it. Only thing is that he lives in Texas! siiiiiiiiiigh. haha

FI and I had a lot of trouble thinking of someone to perform our wedding. But we finally found someone! FFIL's longtime friend and former business partner apparently got ordained when he bought a boat a few years ago, thinking to rent it out for weddings and perform them himself. ;) When FFIL mentioned the possibility of doing our wedding, he was apparently THRILLED and really excited about the possibility of doing ours!
It's a good solution for us, since we are not religious and couldn't otherwise think of a secular officiant we were really excited about. We're so happy to be getting someone we know to marry us!
