I know ppl have their opinions on whether or not to put ur boudoir pics on the internet because of serveral reasons but personally I dont care. I am not modest and to be honest the photographer put pics of me on her website so its no different.

With that said, i finally got them! The photog was preggers when she did the shoot and ended up having her baby early so I was a little late getting them but I got them in the mail yesterday. The book I ordered the hubs wont be here for another 3 weeks or so, so she sent 4x6's to tie him over lol. The pics are pics of the pics I took with my phone =) I was excited and wanted to show you so I worked with what I had =) Anyways it was a complete blast to do and I wasnt nearly as nervous once I got into hair and wake up and got the ball rolling...plus she supplied mimosas

You look great! The first picture is my favorite of the lot, but they're all great. Very nice to have a photographer you're comfortable with, it is evident in the pictures. I did my boudoir pics with the same photographer who did our wedding, and made an album for my husband for christmas!

@Talishazwi: yea I did an on site shoot, which is where the photg booked like 5 ppl for the day and got a hotel room at a super swag hotel and did hair and makeup and got a great deal. Since she did that we narrowed it down to 2 outfits. I am sure I will do more and change outfits a bunch

@shannon1126: There IS a big difference between photos posted on your photog's blog and posting on WB, actually. One thing you (and others) might want to keep in mind when posting photos of this nature is that most photographer's blogs are constructed in a way that allows you to view photos, but bars the viewer from right-clicking and saving the jpg (for obvious copyright reasons). So a random perv could regularly check a boudoir photog's blog for updates, and your photos would eventually, over time, be relegated to the back pages of the blog, or even removed altogether if the photog chooses.

Posting all these photos on a public forum, however, allows any random gross pervy dude to SAVE THEM TO HIS COMPUTER and REDISTRIBUTE them to whomever he chooses. You have no control over photos posted here--once they're out in public, they're out. If you don't mind having your boss "effing tenting it down here" (to echo another lovely poster) while looking at your photos he has saved to his hard drive and emailed to his friends (or even posted in other places), then  more power to you.

I love your pictures, they look great :)

@bride123: you can save a picture even if you can't right click on it, and this post will also move to the back of the pages over time, for what its worth.

@MissBoPeep: I have never seen a photographer's blog that allowed pictures to be saved. It was all encoded/done in Flash/etc. so that no one could remove images from the blog. So I don't know what you're talking about.

@bride123: I just did a google search to test this theory, and on the first 2 pages of results for boudior photography in my local area I could right click and save the images in all but one, and on the one I couldn't right click and save all I had to do to save the image is to hit the print screen button.  I doubt I'm the only one who was able to figure that out.

@MissBoPeep: Clearly those aren't top-quality professional photogs, then. All my photog friends have their websites properly encoded. But whatevs. Go ahead, girls, post away with all your lingerie photos, if it makes you feel better about yourself.

@bride123: Why do you care anyway?!  I think if she wants to post them there is nothing wrong with that.  It's nothing less than what you see people in at the beach.

I think the pics came out great and makes me excited to get mine done!!!  Can't wait :)

@bride123:  It sounds like you're being really judgmental about this.  Like another poster pointed out, it's nothing worse than anything you see people in at the beach.  There's no reason to shame her over it.

I completely understand that everyone looks at things differently. I personally dont have a problem with ppl seeing these pictures. I have seen ppl wearing worse in Vegas and on the beach. I appreciate your concern but thats also why I stated in my original post that I knew there were issues about it and it wasnt something I was concerned with.

And thanks so ladies for the compliments!

As a grad student only a few weeks out from Halloween, let me tell you that you can easily see more skin just walking down the street on October 31st in my town :-p

Love the photos!  Every time I see photos from someone's shoot, it makes me more and more convinced that I want to do one! You look awesome!

@bride123: Photos can always be saved to a computer one way or another.  If not by right clicking save, people can still print screen and size the image down to just the picture.  Nothing is safe online, as you might think.

    @shannon1126: Your pics look good!

@all the others: I think you should back off from bride123, she was just trying to be helpful by reminding of the fact that the pics aren't private once they're here. Obviously Shannon1126 is aware and doesn't mind, but some others could have cared and realized that it wasn't the best move for them. Warning about the reality that internet pervs exist and that maybe you want to avoid having them jerk off on your pics is not judgemental, it's realistic and a nice head's up.

I think bride123 is a little bit of a troll to be honest. Every conversation she enters into turns to drama. I think the pics are great and you look gorgeous! There is nothing wrong with wanting to share them with more than one other person in the world, sheesh. :P

@egb: Aw, thank you. It's nice to see someone with a good head on her shoulders Smile

Internet pervs are a serious thing that we should all be aware of. This is what makes it different than Halloween, the beach, etc.

    That is all.

@bride123: Having that anti-right click thing doesn't stop you saving a photo. It's simple to save something you see on your screen even if you can't right click it. If it's online, somone can save it.

@Belle2Be: Ppl wear less at the beach and on Halloween. My husband doesn't mind at all, obviously I didn't post the risqué ones on the net. Plus if he had an issue with it, I wouldn't do it...

@shannon1126: Can we please stop with the beach and Halloween comparisons. It is NOT the same. 1) People don't normally take a series of sexually-suggestive portraits of themselves at the beach and then post them on public Internet sites. The beach is also an appropriate setting to wear a bikini. How else would you tan or swim comfortably?? Everyone is wearing a bathing suit, because it's socially expected and accepted in this case. Do you NEED to post lingerie photos in a public setting? Nope. 2) Same goes for Halloween (unless it's a drunk group shot at a bar posted to Facebook, which you can choose to un-tag). I just wanted to make those points. And now I am (definitely) done. You can obviously make your own choices; I'm just sick and tired of hearing the apples to oranges argument re: beach/boudoir.

@bride123: why do you care what I do? why are you so concerned with my post that you cant just drop it. I obviously stated in my op that I didnt care about ppl seeing these pics. Just drop it and move on. I had some bees wanting to see them so I posted them and I am fine with doing so. Plus you cant tell me that some Halloween costumes are 'suggestive", if your not comfortable with my thread then don't visit it. I am an adult and I am aware of the repercussions. I tried to be civil and thank you for your concern but I am beginning to agree with a PP that you might be a troll.

I dont think your pics are too racy for the internet.  They are tasteful and you look great.  As a pp pointed out random pervs can save the photos, that is true for any photo you post online.  I have seen myspace photos of friends (non sexual, headshots) posted on sex advertisments to advertise hotlines, porn sites, sexy girls in your area ect.  When I saw this it scared me so i deleted all my internet photos but any perv can take any photo and do what they want with it. I am not trying to argue with anyone, I dont care who posts what on the internet, I just wanted to give you all a heads up that this creepy thing happen to my friends with just an innocent photo.

Um, I am so not a troll. I'm clearly using this site to plan my wedding. Thanks so much for that accusation. Just because I don't agree with something and am giving a legitimate safety warning does not mean I am "trolling."

Buh-bye. I'm done with this post.

I think you look great!! I have a friend coming from back east in a few months and we are planning on doing something similar with a photographer she knows who will have a hotel booked for a day and doing back to back sessions. =)

I dont think you will have anything to worry about, I doubt any pervs will be stalking a wedding planning site with all the porn out there, haha.
