@gemstone, thankyou! we've been through some excruciating life struggles together so for us to be at this point is truley outstanding and i couldn't imagine life with anyone else. :) the ring is really pretty too!

waiting stress is gone!
even though my family and close friends new about the wedding to be, i had already purchased my dress/shoes/head piece and made a deposit on the reception hall, i still was missing that important piece that really made things "official" in our eyes.
i wouldn't have cared if it was a tiny cubic zirconia, but he did an amazing job. simple, elegant and sparkly. :)
i'm so excited to marry this man and we're going to throw a fantastic party to start things off. :) :) :)
