OHh poor you~ i totally feel for you! i have a million rants and raves myself!!!!

I havent let it out yet but its BUILDINNGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGG.. phewwwwwwww deep breath here goes:

Fi is still recovering from cancer and has some diabetes and other health issues- so thanks to those our savings GONE!! wedding contracts are signed..lots of $$ due

we rent but we replace all things in our house- one of our toliet levers broke last night and the fridge in our kitchen died (thank god for  2 bathrooms and the spare fridge in the garage)..but these items need replaced 🙁

My grandmother had a stroke and has had a ton of UNNEEDED complications like being quarantined due to sicknesses and i cant go see her ( bad enough she was 100% active and now is completely paralized due to the stroke) ive been trying to help my mom take care of her..but now i cant be near her

talking about $$- FI job promised him 2 raises and a 5k bonus.. not once but over and over..he even won an award!.. money NEVER CAME.. when he asked them about it-hes gettin excuse after excuse.. which now puts us WAY behind in our budget

@ work we are merging witha new company which means double the work for me and no extra $$

So we got part time jobs- which we HATE ( 12 hrs non stop standing outside @ a faire) we both will be working non stop no days off until end of OCT just to make some $$ and we still maybe SHORT $

4 months to go and we were making our invites last night- the cutter broke! they have to get out in the mail in 2 weeks.. so thats more $$ i have to go spend to replace-i have one bridesmaid being fussy over makeup, and i still do not have positive answers from my jr bridesmaids… we had to change our photographer because she stopped doing weddings..our officiant ( a friend of FI) stopped returning our calls cuz hes not able to get off work..so we had to go find someone else- thank godness i knew someone that will do it for $100… oh and our santa retired ..so now the NEW santa wants $125 when the 1st one was FREE…….

and on top of this- FI WONT LET ME SEE THE TUXES! i could freak out on that alone.. he went with the groomsmen and picked out a style-without me and now says i cant see it.. godl love that man i know hes got good intentions and he wants a great wedding but he just doesnt realize the stress its brought me….

114 days to go.. then i can collapse!

I really feel for you!  It can be so overwhelming sometimes.  Besides stress at work, people have NOT been happy with our invitation policy.

That is a tight budget to work with!  Sometimes you just need to let out steam, and it sounds like that’s just what you did.  Glad that your FI is supportive and weddings are super stressful!  Holy crap, I never imagined just how bad they would be.  Hope today is better!

    been there done that!

I have had a few moments of weakness with planning…mostly about hotel and I tend to loose it most when I cant get things done because money is so tight or having one car and the FI doesn’t want to go out and I do, or when I’m having a day when I just want to be left in quiet and I have everyone needing my attention and I just loose it and my Fiancé just listens to me rant for like 30 minutes I just sit there crying and we laugh together afterwards after realizing that I had a meltdown lol I’m also a budget bride so I know what your going through its tough to have a wedding on out budget.

Hang in there its will all be worth it when its all done and then we can finally relax………once the thank you cards are done… shesh.

2,500? I would be ranting too! We have a bit more wiggleroom but it is still driving me up the wall how much everyone wants from you and at the same time don’t understand why planning can be so stressful and keep putting stuff on you to do! Sounds like you have a good man there to help you through it!

@alishaloo:  Aww, LOL, I hear you!  Your meltdown was so funny and cute though so I can’t help smiling, even though I’m definitely not laughing at your pain!  I hope you feel better about it all and that you’re less stressed.

My minor current gripe–parents want to buy a pricey present for fiance.  I’m having a devil of a time finding something that works (and living in the middle of podunk nowheresville sure doesn’t help the shopping process).  I know, first world problem, right?  LOL.
