I left out the pics of the large monogram letter pomanders.......

Our rings are sapphire and diamonds. My ring was created and I was able to find the floating setting for Derricks ring on www.justmetal.com
Beautiful wedding and welcome to Weddingbee!
It would be awesome if you pasted this into your Bio, also! I think it would be great for other brides to be able to refer to all your hard work! http://bios.weddingbee.com/profile/chevyroston

Thanks so much ladies. @lillindy, I have copied this post to my bio also. I was not sure where the best place for this info would be....
Great wedding! Did you DIY the pomanders? I want to learn how to make these can share a how to if you did?
Beautiful wedding. My favorite details were your dress and the programs!

When you have a minute, you should add your vendors to this thread on the Houston board: http://boards.weddingbee.com/topic/who-are-your-vendors-in-the-houston-and-surround-areas
Beautiful! Your wedding had so many thoughtful details. Hey if you want, you could also add this to the real weddings of color thread!

Okay, my husband and I were married August 1, 2009 here in Houston... I am just now getting around to sharing our day....
Our invitations were ordered from www.vponsale.com. We were really pleased with the results and we got a great deal. We added the insert that gave the link to our website that had our registries and engagement pictures.
We created our Save the Dates online and sent them to our out of town guest via email. New aged communication!
I ordered my dress from a wholesaler online www.weddingo.net. I sent my measurements and I got my dress within 3 weeks. I was very pleased with the results.
the above pics are my dress pre alteration....
I love my dress!! I had it altered at Dana's Alterations in the Bridal Mall here in Houston. She did an awesome job!!!
My garter belt was made by weddingfrillsbycatherine.com. She was able to math our colors perfectly!
All the jewelry for myself (of course not our wedding rings LOL) and bridesmaids came from wholesalers on Harwin in Houston. If you live here you know what I mean...LOL I also purchased all of my BM's shoes from Harwin also!
My shoes came from Payless and they dyed them. They came out perfect! I added the shoe ornament from www.absolutelyaudrey.com and added our initials on the bottom with rhinestones...
The BM dress were ordered from Afred Angelo and the tuxes were rented from Als Formal wear.
We had a simple decor because we are a simple couple. I DIY'd the programs runner, bubbles, and pomanders.
(yes that is tape on the sides.. dont ask.LOL)
I was able to make a memorial candle for Derrick's dad. His sister walked it down the isle and I did the bouquets. I think I did well for the first time!
Our cake was ordered from Cakes by Anastasia here in Houston. Nothing but awesome!!! The grooms cake wasnt really a cake but my hubby loved it. It was a surprise!!!
Our wedding favors were a donation to a local mission on behalf of our guest and we created pictures with a letter for each guest on the back. Everyone loved it and it was economical....;)
