So, it just so happens that our photographer and calligrapher are the best of friends- seeing as they’ve both known FI since forever, that’s to be expected.
Since our calligrapher is working for free, I was very adamant in pressing her to start up a website to build a business for herself. And of course our photographer took beautiful photos of our invites in the process 😀
The invites were designed by me (with some help from FI) in Adobe Illustrator. I designed the invite, RSVP/INFO/MAP cards, and the liner.
While you can’t see it in the photos, the text on the main invite was laser engraved into the paper.
Our calligrapher, Ashley Thompson (aka: The Love Letterer) designed the monogram, and did the tags and envelopes.
All photography belongs to Elizabeth Hannah Studios.

Ugh… not sure why, but it’s eating the pictures! I’m working on it, guys! I have about 5 photos to put up, and it seems like it’s going to be one at a time!

@Gingersnap: Thanks! I had an impossible time finding paper I liked for the liner, so I finally just designed a stripe pattern and had it printed along with our invites.
I really wish Liz had gotten a good photo of the invites to show the engraving, though… but it’s hard to photograph, so I can understand why she didn’t.
We were fortunate enough to have access to a laser cutter through the school, though, so all the engraving was free 😀 It’s def. one of my favorite details.

@ohheavenlyday: Thank you! Ashley is really amazing…. I’m so jealous of her handwriting! But she was kind enough to do all of our calligraphy for free since she’s a good friend.
She’ll be doing some signage and such for our reception decor as well… I’m very excited about it 😀
