Weddingbee boards

I finally had a couple pictures taken of me in my dress...  No makeup, my hair isn't done, and my sholders are scrunched up because I'm trying to balance on my tippy toes 'cause I didn't put my shoes on, which makes me look like I don't have a neck!!! So I do not even remotely look like I'm going to look on my wedding day.

For those of you who are familiar with the Casablanca 1914, yes, the neckline is different. I added a lace detail to the sweetheart neckline, because I felt more comfortable with a straight neckline. It just felt as though it was too low with the sweetheart. I also felt that the lack of lace there made it look as though it was missing something.

@cincity75:  Thank you!  I love the crystals too! It's sparkly, which I think will look pretty in the sun for our garden wedding.

Thank you!  I was really kind of nervous about changing the neckline, because I was changing it from a sweetheart to a straight neckline.  I always read about people modifying a straight neckline to a sweetheart, so I wasn't sure what kind of comments I'd get. 

I am really happy with my dress.  It wasn't my first choice. I had actually picked out another one first, but then my budget changed when we changed our venue, so I had to find another one. Now I'm absolutely thrilled that I ended up having to go with a different dress. This one is perfect for me.

Thank you!!!   I cannot remember a time when I've ever been happier, so I know I've made the right choice--not only about the dress I'm wearing and my wedding, but also about the man I'm marrying. Some times I still pinch myself just to make sure that all this wonderful is really real.

Of course, looking at the pictures, I'm super critical. I love how my dress looks when I look in the mirror, but the camera adds 10 pounds, and I look so stiff in the pictures. I can't wait until our wedding, because I really can't wait to be married to Jim, but I also can't wait to have professional pictures taken that I know will look 100 times better!!

Thank you!  All of you Bees are making me feel so good about my dress and how I look in it.  I can't tell you how much that means to me. Jim and I are eloping, so I won't have a lot of people complimenting me on my dress on my wedding day, so I'm eating this up. 

@sunshine82:  Thank you!  Actually, I left the poof alone.  And surprisingly, I was considering wearing a pink crinoline under it, but that was WAY too much poof!
