I like the first one, especially with the beading around the waist and the bow in the back.
I like the second one the best :) but they are all similar and it is hard for me to tell from sketches! Great though...I wish I had sketches of me in my dress :)
Have your any modified aline? I think that would would look great on your curves! but i love all of your sketches!
Thanks! The top is basically set so that will be the same in all of them... the first one is a straight A-line, the second is supposed to be a modified A-line/trumpet style (princess seams). The third & fourth is a trumpet with a fuller skirt towards the bottom. It was inspired by some Ulla-Maija designs.
I'm not a great artist so hopefully my seamstress will know what I mean! Luckily she is very talented. :)
859b is my favorite.. i don't like the bow at the back of the first one... without the bow it could work lol
I vote first one! Btw, you draw 10000x better than I can..it's amazing you designed these! How creative :)
It looks as though the traditional A-line is winning with the votes! My favorite is somewhere between #858 and #859, though. I just love the idea of the trumpet shape!
i love the idea of the trumpet shape as well that's why i voted on it lol!! but i don't think you could lose anyway.
When I looked at your actual pictures I liked the strapless one with the blue sash the best. You look amazing in that dress so I vote for that one.
i really love that first one! you are a fantastic artist, btw!
They're all very similar, but I think the first is my favorite! You're a great artist, btw!
The first one is beautiful. It looks similar to the one with the blue sash in the pictures, and that one looks really great on you.
they are all awesome, but i love the first one, i'm not a big bow person, but i love it!!!
I really like the first one, especially the bow detail in the back!
After reading your blog, why are all of your sketches with straps? Have you tried dresses on with straps like that? I loved you in the strapless dress! I think you may have the same issue with the straps as with the off the shoulder dress. Also, think about how you will wear your hair. It can make a huge difference in how your bust, shoulders, back look.
@caszos... yes that's a good point. It doesn't show so much in the pictures, but I have a large and heavy chest and those dresses don't contain me at all. They look fine in pictures, but walking around and sitting & standing and hugging people all day... I can't really imagine it. The strapless would have to be cut so high up to cover me that it wouldn't be too flattering.
I may change my mind, but I'm thinking that with a v-neck I can have a lower neckline and also be supported up there. Plus wearing a more supportive bra I would have a better defined waist as well. :)
I like the first one the best. I am usually not a fan of bows in the back but that one just works.
i think I'm gonna go with the first one!
I really like the classic A-line on you- it really nevers goes wrong.

I'm having my dress made and have been working on a design. I'm pretty close to narrowing it down! Here are some sketches, what do you think? I do have a favorite, but am interested in the opinions of "the hive" first. :)
Please ignore the fact that some of these drawings do not have heads. I'm no artist! I do not know how to draw heads, hands, or feet. :)

I made these sketches from actual full-body pictures of me, so hopefully the proportions are right.... just in case, here are some pictures of me trying on dresses.
For fabric, I have some beautiful ivory silk satin (medium weight) and some beaded lace.
