FI is out of town for work and so I needed to share my excitement somewhere!!!
Finding a BM dress in the perfect shade of navy has been my nightmare. I FINALLY found something and have settled on it. Not everyone is happy with the choice but honestly I am proud of myself for sticking up for what I want and realizing that if I try and make everyone happy, I’ll never pick a dress. I feel like a huge weight has been lifted!
My mom is insisting on the girls all having the same shoes which I find a bit ridiculous since they are long dresses (she says you see the shoes, I know you don’t!) especially since the dress I’ve chosen is more expensive than I wanted my girls to pay (unfortunately desperate times call for desperate measures!)

@MrsWBS: This has literally been my life this past week. I just picked thier dresses from DB (its a floor length, with straps, in marine), because they weren’t happy with my first choice (short, strapless, in canary). And my FMIL says the same thing, but My BM are on a budget, so i don’t mind what shoes they wear.
I am glad you picked your dresses!

@brandybelle: I would give them a color (like black or nude or silver) to work with to make it more unified. Most girls own shoes in those colors. If you don’t care which color it is you can always ask them to figure out a color they all own.
@MrsWBS: Good for you for picking a dress! If you don’t care about the shoes you can always tell your mom she has to buy them so they match 😉
