We received our cake topper yesterday from an Esty seller in Texas! It’s our initials, bedazzled with Swarovski crystals. It takes 6 weeks for each order to be shipped, so when I got the tracking number and knew when the expected delivery date was, I waited for the package all day! I def felt like a little kid waiting to get their new toy. Haha!
I LOVE desserts, so the cake is one of my favorite decor/food detail at the wedding. 😀 We’re having 6 tiers of yumminess! Each tier will be wrapped with 6-row rhinestone ribbons (width is about 2 inches).
If anyone is interested, the seller’s name is EnchantingMoment. I highly recommend her as she does beautiful work!

Jw1724: It’s weird since I’m not really a “blingy” person!
crackktheskyy: I do love desserts but I am also a very PICKY eater. So I might disappoint some guests since I don’t like any fruits on my desserts or anything that ends with “-erry” lol! So no strawberry or raspberry filling in the cakes. All the tiers will be marble cake. 3 tiers will have chocolate cream filling and the other 3 will have praline hazelnut (Nutella tasting) filling. I love swirls so a balance of chocolate and vanilla is perfect for me. My fiancé eats almost everything, so he thinks the cake flavors are good too. 😉 The cake will have vanilla buttercream frosting. May I ask what kind of dessert you like or what flavor your cake will be?!

We aren’t entirely sure yet on the cake (we still have over a year) but I know it will be a 4 tier. I am thinking one layer will be a sweet almond cake with raspberry filling. My fiance, who is also less inclined to the “-erry” fillings is a huge chocolate fanatic and I’m a nutella fanatic so we might do a chocolate cake with a hazelnut filling and chocolate ganache! As for the last two layers, I’m not sure but maybe something neutral like white cake with strawberries and whipped frosting or red velvet.
As a dessert fanatic, I think my favorite part is that we are doing a dessert room — complete with a crepe station (my favorite!!)
