Also, try physically going to the Macy's on 34th street. I know that totally sucks and is awful but FI has gotten suits for great prices there and they have a better selection than online.
I'm with you @Kittyachi, I really want the guys in grey sutes/tuxs, but I just can't find them anywhere!
Have you thought about renting one? We're renting from Jim's Formal Wear (they rent out through Bridal Shops). Here is a grey one I found on their website:

We have a suit store Moores who is doing a buy 1 get 1 free sale until the end of January and we are getting the guys grey suits there and it will turn out to be about $100 a suit!
I don't know if a trip to Canada would be plausable for you and I don't know if the suit is the right colour/style etc. but if you want more information PM me.

Well... I haven't exactly priced them yet. But I would assume that they wouldn't be over $150-$200. But I'm sure any bridal store that uses them could give an estimate. We're doing it this way because we know that it will be much, much cheaper than having them buy a suit :)
I don't know how much trouble it would be to find the sizes that you need but we always have good luck finding suits at the Banana Republic outlet.
@cmlmay & Kitty : I've looked at that grey tux, Calvin Klein also does one...I believe it's around the $150 price range at the salon where I got my dress!

Brooks Brothers is 65% OFF everything in the store until tomorrow! 50% after that but I'd bet they would work with you especially if you are buying more than one!
Lots of department stores have suits on sale after the holidays. Several of the groom's party got theirs for about $125 each.
