So my FI and I bought the band that “matches” my ring, sight-unseen from the jewler that my ring came from. I assumed that it would be designed to lay flush. No such luck when it actually came in.
I know a lot of Bees rock the gap, but I know that this is something that would bug me forever – – soldered together or not.
So: Enter asking the bees for help.
This is my ring, from Rogers and Hollands:
And this is the only band I can find so far that might work, but I’d really like to find something from a brick-and-mortar store that I can go look at, but I’ll buy online if I have to.

This isn’t brick and mortar but here’s another option that might work:
I think they have a pretty good return policy and generally people have positive things to say about them. Another plus is that you can customize the metal, gems, etc.

I’m having the same problem. I’ve tried some on that bump out but they all fit differently and so far they haven’t fit quite right. I love internet shopping but for this I’d definitely want to try it on first. The ones that I saw on display looked good but then up against my e-ring some of the bump outs were too long or too deep (if that makes sense!) So far what I like best are ones that sort of gradually bump out. It’s not perfectly flush but it’s pretty close. Kinda like this:
