Had the house sprayed & treated a week ago, specifically for silverfish. We have a 90 day warranty. The exterminator told me to give it 2 weeks before we called again as it’s a slow moving process.
Since then, I have killed a few silverfish, a house centipede, a couple spiders, some ants, etc. Is this normal? When should I be concerned that the treatment isn’t working?

Only you would know if it’s normal to have spiders, ants and centipedes in your area.
He did say to wait two weeks for the silverfish problem to be resolved.

Its normal to still have live bugs after a spray because spraying obviously doesnt come in contact with every bug you might have.
In a couple of weeks have them come back and spray again. Most exterminations will take at LEAST 2-3 treatments before the problem is gone fully

regit45: Have you been seeing less bugs? If so, its working but they will need to spray again maybe once-twice to really treat the issues. Seeing less bugs is a good sign though.

regit45: I am having the same issue with bugs.
We have had a company spray twice.
I have never lived out in the country before, so I am wondering if this is the new normal.
We lived in the city for a few years and literally had maybe 10 spiders and a two week period of a fruit fly fiasco ( I will never buy bananas in the summer again).’
Now, I kill something every day. It isn’t like we have an infestation and bugs are everywhere…but there is something in the house on a daily basis.
What type of area do you live in?

regit45: You need to take into consideration what the “norm” is. When I moved into this house- it had been empty for about 4 years. There was work done on it, but there were centipedes in the basement. Every night- it never failed. I’d turn the lights off, and they’d come up from the basement and into the wall in the kitchen that’s closest to the basement. Slowly, after I tackled them as I came across them- they dissipated in terms of quantity greatly.
Im assuming this is because fall weather is finally arriving- we had way mor spiders than normal in the past week or so. But it’s always like this when the weather changes.
