Let’s face it – black and navy – just too similar to go together well. The best option is a navy blue tux. They are available at a place in the Atlanta suburbs (Kennesaw, GA) called King Tux Rentals. They have a Navy Tuxedo that lots of people say they can’t find!
We’re renting the navy tuxes, but they are on sale now for about 250 dollars! That’s about 1/2 price. Don’t know if they’ll ship them, but it doesn’t hurt to ask!
Our accent color is Cornflower. King Tux has the vest, tie and pocket square in herringbone. Navy and Cornflower look great together!

i would seriously, seriously avoid a navy tux. i think a black tux with dark blue dresses would look totally fine—-but i wouldn’t do a blue tux! maybe in 1999….

Don’t do navy tuxes. For example my colors are navy, silver and white. My BM’s dresses are navy, the guys tuxes are black with gray/silver vests and ties.

I’m doing navy suits, not tuxes. And we purchased ours from macys for about $150! I feel like tuxes should only be black, but that’s just me.
Here is some inspiration:

I’m having my fiance wear navy as well. He’s a red head and he looks so good in dark blue. Not sure if it’ll be a tux or a suit, that’s up to him, but thanks for the recommendations!
